Mónica Suárez

Mónica is a Program Officer with our team in Bolivia. For the past four years she has been instrumental in our Strong Women / Strong Voices program as well as the Vidas Nuestras – La Caldera show, coordinating and monitoring the productions across 50 radio stations and multiple partner institutions. Mónica has a legal background as an educator and consultant for issues in Civic Education, Human Rights, and the environment. She understands storytelling as a way for people to travel to each other and loves her work because it has given her the ability to connect with life in wonderful ways.

She loves playing with her nephew, studying, reading, and spending time with the people that she loves. Mónica also enjoys listening to Pearl Jam, as well as Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
