Chaz Kyser

Chaz is the Communications Manager for the USAID-funded West African Climate Change and Biodiversity (WA BiCC) program, for which PCI Media is a subcontractor. Based in Accra, Ghana, Chaz leads a team of three in strategic program communications and media engagement.

Before joining PCI Media as a consultant for WA BiCC, Chaz worked as the deputy public affairs officer at U.S. Embassy Kingston in Jamaica. Her background includes serving as a writer and editor for a host of organizations and businesses, including government contractors; leading communications and career development workshops for professionals; and working as a university journalism instructor. Chaz is also a published writer and the author of Careeranista: The Woman’s Guide to Success After College. She holds a master’s degree in publishing and bachelor’s degrees in journalism and sociology.

In addition to impromptu dance-offs with her 4-year-old daughter, Chaz loves reading and watching sci-fi, attending cultural events, and walking aimlessly to find new coffee shops.
