João Luzo Bosse

As Radio Manager, Luzo designs and conducts capacity building training of radio producers, as well as overseeing and monitoring the production and quality of the Ouro Negro (ON) live radio programs in 23 Mozambican languages. He also negotiates and coordinates the broadcasts of the radio dramas of the Ouro Negro 360 initiative on our 115 radio partner stations.  For the ON live radio programs, Luzo coordinates and oversees the weekly Life Stories production that addresses issues focusing on health, nutrition, education, sexual and reproductive health, girls, early marriage and gender-based violence, among others. Luzo holds an Honors Degree from the School of Journalism in Maputo and has over 16 years’ experience in designing, producing and presenting radio programs social behavior change radio programs, most of them at the national channel of public radio in Mozambique.
