Patricia David e Silva Bettencourt

Patricia joined PCI Media as Program Manager for the Maputo-based team in April 2018. She manages the implementation and monitoring of the Social Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) program Ouro Negro 360 and works on all areas of coordination between PCI Media Mozambique and Partners.

Before joining PCI Media, Patricia was the Coordinator of the Health Partners Group in Mozambique and worked as the Partnerships Officer for the UNAIDS council there. She also has ten years of experience as a psychologist in Maputo’s main General Hospital. Patricia holds a Degree in Psychology and Communication, and an MSc. in Health Psychology from the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at Queen Margaret University College, Edinburgh, Scotland, UK.

An 80s girl at heart, she loves music, reading at the beach and kids. Patricia wishes she could have a whole bunch and see children as the most amazing, fun, and enlightening things in the world. She also loves pigs and hippos, but as she can’t have any of these animals, she has a French bulldog, husband, and three kids!
