The Board of Directors and Staff of PCI Media mourns the death of our dear friend and colleague, Sally Anson.

For over three decades, Sally and her family distinguished themselves by their outstanding contributions to our global mission at every level. She served three terms as a member of our Board from 1994 to 2002 and never failed to help us promote and extend our work in Asia, Africa and the Americas.

When we think of Sally, the word “unique” comes to mind. It was her favorite word to describe the innovative Entertainment-Education field that has grown to prominence in over 60 countries throughout the world. When we think of the many extraordinary people that we’ve been privileged to know and to work with through the years, we count Sally among the best and brightest.

In really comes down to her strength of character.

Sally’s life was defined by her clear sense of fairness, charity, and a dedication to leaving the world a better place than she found it. In her work with PCI Media, these attributes were ever-present and always expressed with such dignity and grace.

We will always remember Sally in service to others – getting on a plane to travel the world, getting up early to participate in a telephone conference call, and never complaining, especially when the opportunity to help those less fortunate beckoned.

We all need role models to teach us and inspire us. At PCI Media, we are so fortunate we knew and loved Sally Anson.
